Next, remove the two bolts at the lower end of the shock absorber. Use an open wrench or socket wrench to put one end over the outer hexagon head of the bolt and the other end over the nut. These two bolts require a relatively large force. When operated by a single person, a force-applying sleeve can be used for convenient removal.

Remove the fixing nut of the lower stabilizer bar connected to the top of the motorcycle shock absorber. Remove the three fixed nuts at the top of the motorcycle shock absorber tower. Here, you can use open or sleeve wrenches. As long as they are suitable, there will be no problem. This nut is only for positioning. The outer diameter of the nut is generally only 13-14mm.

Remove the shock absorber of the motorcycle from the front suspension. At this point, we can also check the wear of the ball joint of the balance bar. Under normal circumstances, the ball joint has no gap, and although it has a certain damping when rotating in all directions, it rotates smoothly without jamming.

Use the special tool for compressing the shock absorber spring to tighten and compress the shock absorber spring. When the shock absorber spring is compressed into place and the dust cover is loosened, we can see that the buffer block ring on the telescopic tou is completely damaged and scattered all over the ground. When disassembling the upper seat of the shock absorber spring, it was found that the upper spring seat was constantly rotating. At this time, we can bind the shock absorber spring with copper wire or iron wire. This way, it is convenient to remove the fixed nut at the end of the shock absorber telescopic tysticker.

After removing the end cover of the upper bearing of the motorcycle shock absorber, carefully inspect the wear and lubrication of the bearing. If necessary, apply lubricating grease or replace it. When disassembling the shock absorber, it is possible to further inspect the damage condition of the shock absorber. Once again, it can be confirmed that the telescopic tongs of the shock absorber no longer have normal elasticity. As can be seen from the picture, the old telescopic tongs of the shock absorber can no longer be normally eject.
